Astorflex Shoes

Astorflex shoes are designed and developed in Mantua, Lombardy, Italy by Fabio Travenzoli. The company has existed in his family for three generations. He has maintained the companies original focus of crafting comfortable, flexible, and soft shoes that quickly adapt to the user's foot. He has also remained steadfast to the companies founding values of responsibility, transparency, and, has expanded them to include; sustainability.
The shoes are constructed using the best materials available. The upper part of the shoe is made from leather crafted by master tanneries in Tuscany. The lining and insoles are in vegetable-tanned calf leather obtained by soaking the leather in a mixture of water and powdered oak bark and mimosa. This makes the leather healthier, hypoallergenic, and guarantees greater sweat absorption for dry, odorless feet. Most of the soles are in natural rubber consisting in coagulated latex from the rubber tree. The various shoe parts are assembled using water-based adhesives.
